What Comes Around Goes Around offers an impressive textile and swatch collection for all design implications from home décor to clothing. The swatches span the 1800's through the 1970's. Rich with history, pattern, color and style, the What Comes Around Goes Around swatch and textile assortment contains hundreds of thousands of swatches, including jacquards, damasks, shirtings, velvets, silks, sateens, glazed chintzes, calicos, knits, chiffons and much more. Prints of paisley and plaids, floral, stripes, checks, geometrics, batiks and indigos are available in abundance. A special techniques section features lace, embroideries, crochet, embellishments, beading and the like. Exceptional items included in the library are representations of Art Deco and Art Nouveau style swatches as well as magnificent quilts and blankets. Available for purchase, these swatches and textiles are viewable by appointment only and range in price from $100-$1000 per piece. Creatives are encouraged to employ the organization's in-house fashion historians and knowledgable staff members to assist in gallery navigation.
